On October 18, the Glenwood Chess Club hosted Chess Wars VI. Unfortunately, a website error relating to registration information, seemed to seriously impede on our number of entrants!
With an eight-player field, we added an adult/open section and played a four-person quad in both divisions. USCF crosstables can be found here.
In the Scholastic Section, David Harrison (8th grade) was undefeated. (3-0) Second place went to his younger brother Christopher (5th grade) who scored 2-1. Third place was earned by visiting 4th grade Indiana “New Comer”, Bill Wei. (1-2) Finally, Matthew Brison, played with “Heart and Spirit”, but regrettably, came in 4th with a 0-3 score.
