Glenwood Club Hosts Unique Simul Swiss

On July 7, 2015, the Glenwood Chess Club hosted an 8 round Simul Swiss. The format: Each player would play two simultaneous games (one white, one black) against their opponent.

Each game was rated and each player had to keep score. In the 9 player field, the top three finishers were: 1st: Adrian Zolkos at 7.0/8, 2nd, Brian Villarreal with 5.5/8, and Jon Winick 3rd with 5.0/8.

This was a fun specialty event that was fast-paced and definitely not for everybody (smile).
