It is with a bit of sadness, and also with a bit of excitement, that I must offer my resignation as ICA President, effective April 22nd, the date of my move to Indianapolis, Indiana. It's sad because I've spent 7 years as ICA Treasurer and almost 3½ years as ICA President, and I would prefer not to leave an organization I firmly believe does great work for chess in Illinois. I'm excited because of where we'll be going and what we'll be doing in Indiana.

The 2015 ICA Board Meeting slated for December 10 was cancelled due to a lack of a quorum. No replacement meeting has been scheduled.
ICA Election results have been certified by committee and Scott Daniels and Jerry Neugarten were re-elected to the ICA Board as At-Large members, while Kevin Taylor, who joined the board as an appointee several months ago, was also elected to a full term.
Their terms are for two years, running through 2017 beginning 1/1/2016.
Two additional slots on the board are available: one slated for someone residing in Cook or collar counties and one designated for any other county in the state.
