Format/Rounds: 5 round Swiss System         
Time Control: G/100 with five second delay. Digital clocks only.
Medley Teams: Top four individual scores are added to obtain the team score, minimum two players required.

Registration at Site and Check-in:  From 8:30-9:30
Check-In: Players must check in by 9:30 am; players who arrive late will receive a half-point bye for the first round or be paired with another late arrival. Pre-registered players who do not arrive by the end of Round 1 will be withdrawn.
On-Site Entry: On-site entries are $30, cash or credit cards, no checks. Please arrive by 9:00 to enter onsite.

Rounds:  Saturday: 10:00, 2;00, 6:00; Sunday: 9:00, 1:00. Awards @ 5:00. Please be at your board 10 minutes early for the first round each day.

Prizes:
Individual Prizes: 1st place individual will receive a Denker Qualifier entry (assuming a minimum of 100 players.)
Trophies to 1-10, 1st, 2nd in class A, B, C, D, E and Below, Unr.
Team prizes: Trophies for 1-10.
Food: Concessions available on site. Fast food and other restaurants a 5-minute drive away. Expanded concessions compared to September event.

Byes: One half point in any round but the last.

US Chess Membership: Required. The Illinois Chess Association has a limited number of one-year US Chess memberships available to players in through 12th grade for $9, until January 30th.
