Sean Insley Wins 2015 Black Friday Open in DeKalb

Indian Creek's Sean Insley posted the lone perfect score at the four-round 2015 Black Friday Open in DeKalb. The one-section event was conducted November 27 attracting 16.
A point back at 3.0, tying for second place, were the trio of Tom Segreto, Sreyansh Mamidi and Austin Insley, Sean's brother.
Four entrants finished with 2.5 including David Chen, Rahul Bammidi, Gary Sargent and Vikram Oberai.
Vikram surpassed the 1000-mark for the first time in his young career.
Gary accomplished his tournament goal of returning to the plus-side of 1000, playing on Board One in the final round, losing to Sean.
Sean's high school teammate, Parker McClane, competed in his first US Chess event, as did Tarika Oberai.
