Casual and Competitive Chess at the Roselle Public Library!

Starting this winter, the Roselle Public Library District will be hosting chess events on most Thursdays. Non-library patrons are welcome!
Roselle Public Library is located on 40 South Park Street in Roselle. Roselle is a Northwest Suburb of Chicago located in Cook and DuPage counties, near IL Route 390, I-290, and I-355.
Stop by between 6:45pm-8:30pm for casual chess in the Library Atrium near the Adult Services section. Chess sets will be provided at the Library Card desk. Below is the current schedule for Casual Chess Meetups:
December 14th, 28th
January 11th, 25th
February 8th, 15th
March 15th, 22nd
April 4th, 26th
May 3rd
Competitive meetings will begin at 6:45pm in Meeting Rooms A and B. Organized games will begin at 7:00pm. Organized games will include one USCF rated G/40;d5 game per meeting as well as non-rated games. Sets will be provided. Please bring chess clocks. Below is the current schedule for the Competitive Chess Club:

Events are free and open to players of all ages and skill levels. Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
