1st Annual North Chicago Cup
Co-Organized by Wilson Chess & Chess GenX

This tournament is open to all chess players (K-12).
US Chess membership required for all rated sections.
Format: 4 rounds Swiss G25/d5
Round Times:
- Round 1 - 10 am
- Round 2 - 11:10 am
- Lunch
- Round 3 - 12:30 pm
- Round 4 - 1:40 pm
- Awards - 4 pm or as soon as Round 4 is complete.
- Blitz Starts: 3:30pm
Sections:
- U1200 – Must be rated 700 to play up
- U800 - Intermediate level
- U400 – Beginner level
Awards:
Each section has individual 1st - 5th place and top 2 school teams, based on top 4 scores
per team with a 2-player minimum.

Space is limited; it is strongly recommended to register online.
Entry Fee:
- Online by 1/04 - $35
- Online by 1/18 - $40
- Day-of or Onsite - $50 – Onsite entries after 9:30am receive ½-point bye for round 1.
- *Note: $2 surcharge for all online entries.
- **Note: Save $5 when you register for both the main event and the Blitz
Special Discount: US Chess Membership
Anyone who becomes a new member of US Chess or renews their membership through Wilson Chess will receive a $2 discount.

Notation is required for U1200 section and is optional for U700 and Not-rated.
Refunds are subject to $5 processing fee.

Takes place after the main tournament
Round 1 - 3:30pm - Awards 4:30pm or ASAP after last game.
