Summary:

Simul with FIDE World Champion GM Alexander Shabolov!

World Senior Champion and four-time US Chess Champion GM Alexander Shabalov is back at the Chicago Chess Center! All competitors will get to play the Grandmaster in this event.

GM Alexander Shabalov will give a free 45-minute lecture prior to the simul at 5pm. Simul starts at 6pm. All games not finished by 8pm will get a computer evaluation to determine the game results/prizes. Complimentary refreshments and pastries provided!

Location:

Chicago Chess Center, 166 W Washington St, Chicago, IL 60602, Unit # 600.

Format: Simultaneous exhibition (simul).

Schedule: Thursday, March 26th. 45 minute lecture starts at 5pm. (Free, no registration required). Simul starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm. All games not finished by 8pm will get a computer evaluation to determine the game results.

Prizes:

All players who win against GM Alexander Shabalov will receive either A free entry to a CCC tournament of their choice OR

A trophy. Players who draw the GM receive a medal.
