When:  Friday, November 15, 2024. 6-9:30pm, first round @ 7:00pm sharp.
Where:  Oak Lawn, IL
Hosted by the South Suburban Chess Club

Description:
Time control: G/15;d3 4-5 rounds. ½ pt bye available for round 1 if requested by 6:30pm.  USCF rated. For pairings, we will use the most recent USCF ratings list.
One section only for pairings using the Swiss System.  Two groups for prize fund, see below.

Location:
Oak Lawn Community Center, 4625 W. 110^th Street, Oak Lawn, IL.    Rm. 9.  Opens at 6:00pm.

Entry Fee: $0.00. Confirming, no entry fee.

Onsite Registration:
Room doesn’t open until 6:00pm. Registration from 6-6:55pm.   Be prepared to show current USCF membership. This is a no smoking building.  Free parking.  Wheelchair accessible.

Rounds & Equipment:
Round 1 starts at 7:00pm.   Boards and sets are provided.  Please bring clocks as we have a limited supply.

Prizes:
$200 total prize fund. $150 for open section, $50 for those rated under 1500.  Note, non club members are only eligible to win or share the top prize in the Open Section. The remaining money is distributed to club members. Club membership is only $15 per fiscal year (Sept. to Sept.). Can join at registration, cash only.

Prize Distribution:

Open section: 1^st $60, 2^nd $40, 3^rd $30, 4^th 20

Under 1500 section: 1^st $30, 2^nd $20
